Utilising a well-known colour scheme, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "University Blue" pays homage to Michael Jordan's alma mater, UNC. The all-leather upper has a black trademark Swoosh and a white base with powder blue overlays. The collar, tongue tag, and printed Wings emblem on the lateral collar flap all have matching black accents. The normal AJ1 outsole, which has multi directional traction and a pivot point under the forefoot, is painted a brighter shade of blue.
